Sunday School Resumes

Sunday School and Stepping Up classes will recommence this Sunday, 2nd February 2025 to coincide with the beginning of the school term. All school aged children can attend Sunday School during the sermon on Sundays.

Evening Growth Groups

Our various groups will start up this coming week and there is always room for more people to join any one of these.

Monday 
1. Young Adults: 6:15pm-8:00pm at the Manse. Dinner first and then a study. Talk to Don if you would like to come along or email administration@elthampc.org.au

2. 8:00-9:30 pm Growth Group: A later gathering first up on a Monday suits many people in the work force. Contact Rob if you would like to join this group or email administration@elthampc.org.au

Thursday
1. 8:00-9:30 pm Growth Group on ZOOM: This suits people who get home late from work or have home commitments that don’t make it easy to go out at night. Contact Ian if you would like to join this group or email administration@elthampc.org.au

mainly music at EPC

As mainly music commences this coming Thursday our mm Team would ask the members of EPC to pray for them and the families who attend.

The families who attend our mainly music group are from our local community. Each week the team brings the word of Our Lord to those attending through a Bible verse, songs and play. Our mainly music program is proving to be a very effective way to bring the word of God to busy young families who may otherwise not hear it.

We would also like to thank the generosity and faithfulness of those members who supply morning tea each week to the mainly music sessions.

We are also looking for more volunteers to provide morning tea to the families and team members. Each session requires one savoury plate and one sweet plate to cater for those attending.

EPC's Summer BBQ Dinner

Join us on Saturday, February 8, at 5:45 for a 6pm start to enjoy this community building event and a special presentation about diabetes by a Special Guest Speaker. Feel free to invite a friend or two!

First Men’s Event

Start thinking about who you can invite to our first Men’s Event for 2025 - Old Cars, Live Music and Food, March 1 at 5:30pm. This is a great opportunity to invite a non-churched friend (or 2) to a low key, friendly gathering of blokes. Use it to increase your friendship and introduce them to the wider EPC community. 

Food is organised and musicians have been booked. Time to start talking to your connections about who has an old car (e.g. 80's and beyond). Those who bring a car come for free!

Women's Prayer and Coffee

Hi ladies
You're warmly invited to join us for our monthly prayer and coffee mornings again for 2025. This year, they'll be on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. Our first meeting will be on February 12th, please arrive at 9:45am for a 10:00am start going until 11:30am.

You'll notice that April's date is scheduled during the school holidays. This is going to be a special prayer morning, for our regulars, plus any kids, teens or teachers to join us who can't usually make it.

If you have anything that you'd like us to pray for, even if you're not able to join us, please get in contact and it would be our joy to pray for you.

Kidswise Melbourne North Afternoon Training

Food Share 2025 

We know that there are many families in Australia struggling to put food on their tables let alone pay their mortgages. Ongoing Courtyard Appeal

Sunday School, Youth and Families Worker

Eltham Presbyterian Church is looking to fill a part-time position which could be up to two days a week depending on a person's gifting and experience.

A key aspect of this role is to have oversight of the Sunday School and Youth programs as well as assisting, encouraging and training the teachers and leaders in these ministries. We are looking for someone who will appreciate our church culture and become a part of our Gospel-centered community.
